Welcome to West Shore,

We are pleased that you have chosen to worship with us.  We exist as a church to Connect People to God, Others and Service.  No matter where you are in life we believe God has a purpose for you.

Have you ever stopped to think about how many different types of pain there are in our lives?  There is physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological, and the list could go on and on. Today, in week two of our series titled, “Pain Killer,” we are going to look at the topic of the “Pain of Suffering.”  As we examine the things that take place in our lives, we are often tempted to say, “Life is not fair.”  This is a fair and accurate statement. However, as we deal with the topic of suffering, I want to suggest that this phrase is incomplete and a different version should be on the lips of each and ever person who claims to be a fully devoted follower of Christ.  What is the complete phrase?  I am glad you asked, and here it is: “Life is not fair, but God is good.”  The pain of life is inevitable, but as we will see today, it is not without purpose.

Blessings in Christ,

Pastor Tim
